Dibble Family Heirloom Session

Magic.

There is just something about a sunrise photoshoot that is pure magic. While most of the world was still sleeping, we had golden hour and Colonial Williamsburg all to ourselves.

Morgan and Conner reached out to me to take their family portraits, as their sweet baby girl had just turned 6 months old. They decided on a sunrise shoot and WOW was it incredibly beautiful. This family just lives in peace and stillness of pure love.  

We need to first get this out there: Baby Willow is beyond adorable and was perfection as we walked around for almost two hours enjoying a morning stroll. I mean, scroll down and look at those blue eyes!!! We found some hidden gems in CW and took advantage of the gorgeous sunrise lighting. The love that this family has for each other is palpable—pure magic.

After the shoot, we sat down to talk about how Moran and Conner met and what it was like to welcome beautiful Willow into their world. I have to admit, it was hard not to tear up listening to these two talk about seeing each other become parents (my favorite was the first thing Conner said to Willow when he met her: “hello gorgeous”). We talked about some of the more vulnerable aspects of becoming parents and how much these two were made to be Willow’s Mom and Dad.
